Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

We have been given a fixed amount of time here on this earth. The Lord has given each one of us time to seek the truth.

We have been given time to learn and to teach. We have been given time to give and to take.

We have been given time to sew into the lives of others, and we have been given time to see those fruits come forth and produce, whether they are fruits that yield righteousness and give honor and glory to God, or if they be fruits that bring shame to ourselves and to God.

Make no mistake in believing that you will reap what we sew.

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

If your sewing in sin then you will reap sin and the wages of sin is death.

When you choose to live a life without accountability, then you’re choosing a life of rebellion from the truth.

You are free to make that choice. Your free to worship or to not worship the god of your choice, but you had better make sure that you’re right because once you pass from this life to eternity your choice will have been made.

There will be no second chances after death has come. The spiritual condition that we leave this life in, will be the condition that we will remain in for eternity.

  1. No Time to Pray

There is a time coming when prayer’s will cease from being heard and answered.

Even now if you are living in willful sin your prayers will be hindered. Your prayers will not be heard.

Your request to the Lord will be ignored.

Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

When you live a life that you know is opposing to the will and ways of the Lord, you have chosen to separate yourself from Him.

Sin causes us to seclude ourselves from others and distance ourselves from God.

When we decide to tell halve truth to try and clear our consciences this will not bring freedom but only more bondage to sin.

Sin produces sin and bondage. Righteousness produces righteousness and freedom.

The world is in bondage because of sin and the only answer to sin is the cross of Jesus Christ.

The only power of that can transform lives is the power of the Holy Ghost operating in the realm of the finished work of Jesus Christ being crucified on the Cross at Calvary.

The debt of sin was paid in full then!

There is no religion!

No denomination!

No work of the flesh that can change you!

It is nothing but the blood of Jesus!

John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

That was it victory through Jesus Christ is mine!

Do you freedom from alcohol?

Do you freedom from drug addiction?

Do you freedom from pornography?

Do you freedom from all the things and pressures of life that have you bound in depression and confusion?

Look to the cross of Jesus Christ!

It is the only thing that can bring healing! Life! and freedom from bondage.

Isaiah 55:6 ¶ Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

There will come a time when prayers will not be heard.

Petitions to the Lord will not be answered.

Prayers will not be answered in Hell.

Luke 16:19-31

19 ¶ There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:

28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

No prayers are answered in Hell.

We can’t afford to neglect our prayer life to the Lord for our lost family members, friends, neighbors, communities, countries and leaders.

The darkness has come in through the lack of praying from the people of God.

  1. No Time to Repent

The time is coming that repentance will not be accepted.

Ecclesiastes 3:17 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.

Repentance means to turn from wickedness, habits and lifestyles that are against the Lord and go into a new direction.

Many people have hard hearts and are not willing to even consider the fact that they are living in error and sin.

Proverbs 28:5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.

Sin is sin and just because you’re not aware of it as sin does not excuse you from the sin.

We all have been given a conscience that knows right from wrong and refusing to abide in the truth will cost you your soul if you don’t repent.

Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

There is one who has eyes of fire and will be able to see through the lies and deception and no hidden sin will you be able to hide from Him.

Rebellion to the truth will keep you in bondage and will cut off all communication from God.

Psalm 50:16-17  16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? 17 Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.

When you disregard the Lord in prayer and you choose not to repent of your sins, you’re choosing to not to accept the gift of eternal life that has been freely given to you by the Lord Jesus Christ, and if you’re a Christian then you are breaching the covenant with God and are in danger of becoming reprobate.

Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

There are many distractions in this life that can hinder us with our walk with the Lord.

As believer’s it is easy to become distracted by our place of employment, bills, and family affairs.

We become concerned about the things of the world and we begin to worry and take our eyes off of Jesus Christ.

Luke 21:34 ¶ And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

We become like doubting Thomas or Peter when he stepped out of the boat to walk on the water to Jesus and he began to doubt and take his eyes off the Lord and he sank down into the water.

Down into the cares of this life where there is no help, but our only help is in Jesus Christ.

The time for repenting and turning to Jesus will soon come to an end.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

  1. No Time to Change

In this world that we live in today we are given so many options in life.

We have the option to come and go as we please.

We have the option to worship whoever we please.

We have the option to use whatever bathroom please.

We have the option to choose whatever gender we would like to present ourselves as.

We have the option for divorce.

We even have the option to legally choose to murder an unborn child.

We do have the option to destroy lives and to take the lives of innocent babies and even people, but we do not have the option to add to the days of our life.

Psalms 144:4 Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.

We are so accustomed to second chances and starting over. The world today offers us the option to start over in the area of video games, movies and even music.

The Lord has given us all so many chances to seek Him in prayer and to repent of our sins and to change the road that we are on, and to enter into the straight gate that leads to life, but the majority has chosen to despise his Word and to ignore his calling.

The world is offended when they are told that they will stand before the Great White Throne Judgment.

They feel that they will not be subject to a sovereign God.

They want to deny the accountability that they will have to give an account for but mark it down!

Each and every soul that has walked on this earth will stand before the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and will give an account for their works.

Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

The option to change will soon come to an end and time as we know it will stop.

Time will be up for you and if you choose to ignore this message and the calling of the Lord you will very soon not have the option to change.

Even the demons know that there is a time that is appointed for judgment and the ending of this world as we know it.

Matthew 8:28-29

28 ¶ And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

This passage of scripture has always fascinated me because even the demons acknowledge that there will come a time of judgment a time of settling up.

Today we have time to choose to pray, repent and change our direction.

Time will soon be no more and the option to seek the Lord will be over.

We have all been given a certain amount of time on this earth and how much time we have to live is one thing that we don’t have an option to choose.

There is only One who knows our time and that is the Lord.

Things are wrapping up Jesus is coming soon and now is the time to pray!

Now is the time to repent!

Now is the time to change!

Revelation 14:15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
